Tourists enjoy the fabulous warm climate, oriental Park settings and the amazing choices of water slides which Siam Park offers. From a choice of young pool and slide area, right through to adult laser cave slide experiences, this park offers plenty of fun packed holiday excitement. One of the most impressive rides is the Dragon which was created by Italian Artist Paolo Bonanno which is the only one in Europe.
The complex opened in May 2015 and has attracted big brand names such as Zara, Guess, Pandora, Timberland and Mango. There are around 70 shops in the complex and if you are looking for some good quality holiday items at reasonable prices, then this place is definitely worth a visit. It is ideal for bikini’s or summer clothing (when the UK market has stopped selling in store due to winter months), so keep your money and head out here for a few holiday essentials!
The interior of Siam Mall is carefully planned, spacious with a touch of luxurious feel about it. All tastefully decorated in an oriental theme. It is kept cool and airy so it is perfect for shopping on those blistering hot days when it is just too hot to sit on the beach or the cloudy days when it is still warm but not enough sun to sit out and sunbathe. There are plenty of places to eat with restaurants on the upper level, down to cafes with delicious patisseries, sandwiches and snacks. There is even a Subway and more recently, a Starbucks to add to the tourist’s delight.
Playa San Juan Beach
In Playa San Juan there is a beautiful beach that is a little quieter than the usual tourist spots. The beach is not your usual golden sandy type but this doesn’t stop people from enjoying the shaded cove. There are dark sand and pebbles at the start of the beach which then moves into some golden sands. You can hire a sun lounger too if you want to spend the day there. Typical shower cubicles of the wooden blue and white huts are on offer on the sand. Along the beach, there is a lovely walkway of colourful trees and shrubs. Perfect for sitting down and keeping cool from the blazing sun. This is often used by the local people and it has a great view of the harbour and beach. You can also sit at the beach bar and sip a cool cocktail or grab a bite to eat. The perfect place for a quiet day of relaxation and walking.
