Bill’s is a restaurant founded on fresh produce and good food. Bill’s started off as a Green Grocer, selling fresh fruit and vegetables. The shop was hit by a flood, so when they decided that it was time to re-open, they added a cafe! Fast forward a few years and 70+ restaurants later, Bill’s is a chain with a great menu, great staff and great morals. Each restaurant has a shop attached, where you can buy the lemonade, jams, cookies and more. I was invited along to try the lunch/dinner menu after trying their breakfasts one morning. My dad told them about my blog and why I was taking 100’s of photos of pancakes, and they very kindly invited me back! Β My pancakes were adorned with strawberries, blueberries and bananas which made me feel a little less guilty about drowning them in syrup! πŸ“πŸŒThrowback to this amazing breakfast from @billsrestaurant… View Post

For weeks before the launch, I was eyeing up The Fat Hippo Durham. The interiors looked fab, in a gorgeous old building in the middle of the gorgeous city. There’s something about Durham that is just so beautiful, whatever the weather. I was invited along to try the Durham restaurantΒ toΒ see how it varies from the Underground – my usual.Β Besides the food, one of the best things about the Fat Hippo is that you’re able to go in for a quite bite to eat, or you can take your time. I’ve never waited long for my food – and I’ve been over 5 times now. Durham is one of the most beautiful places in England, and the Fat Hippo Durham is beautifully gothic, in a gorgeous old building lit with romantic lighting. On this visit, I went with my Mam and my Auntie. They both decided they would share their main… View Post

Hi everyone! I thought I’d share with you what I got in my Scoff Club Box, which I was so kindly sent to review. Its a monthly subscription box of retro and classic sweeties. I couldn’t pass up on this opportunity to try the box as I am a self confessed sugar addict. The concept is so fun and I think it would make an amazing gift for people of all ages (or something to get sent to your workplace for a Friday afternoon sugar rush!) This is what I got in the box: Tutti Fruiti Fizzy Cubes (two packs) Clotted Cream Toffee Bonbons Jelly Babies (my personal favourite) Chocolate Honeycomb Reese’s Pieces Eye Poppers It is such a fun concept and I enjoyed unwrapping my box and sharing these sweets with my family! My Mam scoffed quite a bit whilst watching House of Cards ha. You can purchase the… View Post

I’m trying to convince myself it’s Spring, but we’re at the end of January and it’s still very much freezing. Christmas is over and so is New Year and really, we don’t have that much to look forward to other than the summer. A nice warm drink always gets me through the cold days and I look forward to having something that will warm me throughout. I like hot chocolate, but I hate the horrible store-bought powders you get. It just doesn’t taste right. I’ve been making this recipe for a few years now due to how easy it is and how good it tastes. The best part? It only takes two ingredients and less than ten minutes to make. All you need is milk and Nutella. That’s it. Unless you want to smother it in cream, marshmallows and various chocolate sprinkles like I did (and I’ll admit, I done… View Post

The Great British Bake Off has ended for another year which means my cravings for cake will probably drop dramatically. At least, that’s what I thought. I’d been following the Great British Cupcakery on Instagram for a while after my friend told me about it and one day we decided it was finally time to ditch the *diets* and check it out. Just along the Quayside on Queen Street, the lovely parlour is situated on a cute little corner. As you may or may not know, milkshakes are one of my favourite things that this planet has created so as soon as my eyes graced upon the ones they do, I was sold. It was a dream come true and I was positively bubbling with excitement. Of course I got the Cookie Dough milkshake with Nutella… I know, it’s beautiful. You’re probably wondering if I was able to eat/drink the… View Post
