If you don’t already know, I’ve been addicted to makeup since I was just 13 years old. Ever since I watched my first YouTube tutorial, I’ve been hooked. The makeup industry has massively increased since then, with countless new brands opening their arms to us each year. Makeup tutorials are some of the most popular videos on Youtube, with many wannabe influencers trying to make it big in the beauty industry through this lucrative medium. I’ve even given it a whirl myself and built my follower base using https://www.UpYourViews.com to try and get more exposure. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time to upload videos consistently so I doubt I’ll be getting to the top of the ranks anytime soon, but it’s an exciting project nonetheless. I’m still an avid watcher of all the well-known YouTube beauty moguls, who seem to have an endless array of products to promote, but more brands means more makeup for me to try out!
There’s no doubt that my love of makeup is somewhat unhealthy. I think about it at almost every moment, often only being able to sleep if I have planned my entire makeup look for the next day. Please don’t say that’s only me who does this… Anyway, I recently got some new goodies and I thought I’d share them! Some I bought myself, some I was so kindly gifted.
Gerard Cosmetics Colour Your Smile Lipgloss in (L-R) Coral Craze, Shimmer of Hope, Spring Fling, Butter Cream and Shaaanxo’s Candy Kiss
I like these lipglosses, they’re extremely pigmented and beautiful on the lips. I do wish I had chosen darker, more wearable shades. The colours I bought are all rather similar and I some of them unfortunately wash me out. I do still love to wear them over the top of lipsticks!
Nars Lipgloss in Vent Sal╤В╨д╨мтХитХг and Nars eyeshadow duo in St Paul De Venice.
This lipgloss looks gorgeous over any matte shade of lipstick to give it a gorgeous frosted finish. I love combining it with Mac’s Ruby Woo. These two items were so generously sent to me by Dave Lackie. If you don’t know who he is… WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? Check out his Twitter for some amazing give-aways! The shadows are my favourite colours. I love that rich copper orange and brown. Beautiful shadows!
Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro palette (Lorac Pro dupe), Makeup Revolution Pro Fix Amazing Setting Spray, Makeup Revolution Radient Lights palette
The Lorac Pro palette is one of which I have been lusting after the day it came out. It seems to be haunting me as I see it everywhere. I’m not willing to pay the horrendous shipping fee (or be lumped with a customs fee) so I’ve been waiting patiently for it to come out here. So far, no luck. Until the Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro palette came out. It’s fortunately satisfied my cravings, for a fraction of the price.
After using up my Urban Decay Setting Spray and forgetting to purchase a new one, I picked the Makeup Revolution Pro Fix Amazing Setting spray. So far so good, I’d say the only difference I’ve noticed from the Urban Decay one is the smell. The Radiant Lights palette is my favourite, especially the lovely golden shade.
Nars Dual Intensity Blush in Frenzy
It’s probably no surprise to you that Nars is my favourite brand. They create amazing products consistently and are one of few brands I can truly say, have very few weak spots. I’ve been wanting to get my hands on some of these blushes for a long time as I love the Dual Intensity shadows. I chose Frenzy as I love wearing orange blush with a brown smokey eye and golden highlights are my favourite. This palette has become an every day essential for me and was worth every single penny!
Well, that concludes my haul for today. No doubt I’ll be back with another one soon as a Kiko Milano store has just opened in Newcastle and I want EVERYTHING.
Lots of love x

I like the look of the lip glosses in the pictures but agree they do probably wash people out, the idea of using them on top of a darker lip stick is great, I hadn’t of thought of that!

To be honest I can’t be bothered with makeup for everyday use, but that is because I work from home, live somewhere very rural and can easily go days without seeing anyone but my husband. That means when I go out I love the excuse to play with makeup and some of those blushers and lipgloss look divine. I can feel the need to treat myself coming on.

Looks like lovely make-up, I can’t wear it at the moment due to allergies but I am quite jealous!
