A few years ago I was subscribed to Glossybox. I remember eagerly awaiting it’s arrival every month and being ecstatic when I came home to it waiting for me. However on my fourth box I opened it and was SO disappointed in it, I cancelled my subscription right away and complained about how awful it was. I can’t remember exactly what was in it now although I do remember it being tiny, tiny samples of cheap products. Something by leisurely walking around Boots I could probably have for free. In fact, many of the products on them said ‘SAMPLE – NOT FOR SALE’ and were definitely not the ‘luxury’ size that they claimed they were. This put me off beauty boxes and I’ve never bought one again, until now.
It was my mother who received this box for her birthday and as soon as I had a sneak peek inside I knew I had to buy it! So, here’s the contents;
I haven’t used any of these products yet apart from the Monu Illuminating Primer (which I love) as I’ve had it before but overall I’m extremely happy with the products in the box. In my mothers box she got one extra product and a different coloured lip liner (which I prefer).
The only problem that I had with this box is the actual box itself. My box had cracked in the post which now means I can’t use it and it isn’t very sturdy, therefore would probably be thrown out after I’ve found a home for my new products. I don’t think I would buy a box every month, but every once in a while. I would much rather spend the money on one product I know I will use and love.
The Look Fantastic Beauty Box retails at £15.00 and you can buy it here: http://www.lookfantastic.com/offers/beauty-box.list

Hi Sheila! I would definitely suggest getting an eyeshadow primer. The Urban Decay primer potion is a great one. It will help it stick in the same place and not move about. As well as this, I would suggest to stay away from bright colours and use neutral browns, golds, bronze as they make your eyes pop. I would suggest an Urban Decay naked palette for that! The shadows are great quality. Hope I helped! X
