Hands up if you’re like me and find the ritual of cleaning your brushes a bigger chore than tidying your room ?. I find that brush cleansers can be expensive and usually they don’t get out all of the product. They’re great for wiping excess product off but not for that deep clean. I’ve found a way of getting brushes so clean that makes them feel BRAND NEW. Yep, like you just bought them. It’s brilliant. All you need is baby shampoo and a BrushEgg. Which is this little beauty here;
They’re a silicone, egg shaped brush cleaning device. All you do is pop a little bit of baby shampoo on the ridges, swirl your brush, rinse and repeat until the brushes are clean! Be careful though, don’t do it too hard and recklessly as bristles may fall out. I would also suggest doing this on a night time so the brushes can dry over night. The best position I’ve found to put them in is on a towel over a radiator (turned off or on very low). The best thing about this BrushEgg is that it can be found for 99p HERE on Ebay with 50p shipping. Which means you can deep clean your brushes for under £3. With the money you could save, you can easily treat yourself to a new lipstick! I know I did.
Hope you enjoyed this little post, thought I would keep it short and sweet. If you have any questions, feel free to tweet me or comment on this post.
Have a lovely day!

Hey there 🙂 just popped in to say hi. I love the overall look of your blog, and it’s got a lot of stuff I love and can relate to myself. I’m gonna keep coming by! I wish I could get this adorable thing here btw, I always find it such a pain to manually clean brushes every week.
