Liz Earle is a brand that has been around for a long time and is a staple in the beauty world. As a cruelty-free brand that prides itself on their passion for skincare, there is no wonder that they are such a credit to the skincare world.
Recently I was sent a few of their staple products to try out. Some I’d used before, some I hadn’t. By now, I’m sure you all know about the famous hot cloth cleanser and the miracles it can work on spotty skin so I thought I’d show you all some other wonderful products that I have been given to try out, so I can tell you all what I think.
The Cleanse & Polish Grapefruit & Patchouli is my favourite out of the whole set, making it super easy to cleanse your face of all makeup and leave it feeling fresh and new. It does a very good job at removing makeup, especially breaking down mascara and the soft Muslin cloth will wipe it all away.
Skin Repair Moisturiser Light Moisturiser is a light and gentle moisturiser perfect for daily use for those with normal/oily skin. It has a lovely scent and I use it on a morning before my makeup. Containing borage oil, echinacea, hops and avocado oil, plus natural source antioxidants beta-carotene and vitamin E it will be sure to leave your skin looking fresh and feeling hydrated. I do love this product and it works exactly how I’d like it to.
Occasionally I like to use something a little more moisturising as I can get dry skin. Using this Nourishing Treatment Mask is brilliant for an overnight hydration that leaves me feeling fresh in the morning. It’s thicker and really does the job. I find it really does soothe my skin, as sometimes it can be a little irritated.
The Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion is an essential for the eye routine. The eye is such a sensitive area and should be treated with caution. I love that this product is so gentle and I’m going to give this to my sister to try out, as she struggles with her undereye and I know this will help her tenfolds!
I have to exfoliate my face very regularly due to how dry it gets, but I find most facial exfoliators are a bit too harsh. You have to be careful as if they’re too rough, they’re detrimental to your skin. This Gentle Face Exfoliator 70ml Pump truly does gently buff away dead skin cells and leaves me with fresh looking skin each time. It’s gentle enough to use often too!
Skin Tonic isn’t something I’d usually use, the only toner I use is the Pixi Glow Tonic but Skin Tonic is slowly creeping into my everyday routine. I love it! I have a few red, angry spots and I do feel as though this soothes the redness and calms them down.
I love the packaging to Liz Earle skincare too. It’s classy and understated and easy to distinguish which product is which. A huge thank you to Liz Earle for sending me these fantastic products to try out and please do let me know in the comments if there’s anything you’d like to try or already love!
I’m off to go wash my face now…
