When you think of London, I bet Covent Garden pops into your head. It’s a tourist staple to visit but also one of my favourites. Full of class, amazing places to eat and hidden gems, I want to chat with you today about my must-go places. So whether you’re looking for inspiration or just have some wanderlust, hopefully, I’ll have somewhere you’d visit. If you are looking for somewhere to stay during your time in London, I highly suggest staying in a Covent Garden Hotel.
The first thing I’m drawn to when I visit Covent Garden is, naturally, all of the shops. They aren’t usually as busy as Oxford Street and they’re closer together, so it’s much nicer to shop there. Zara was the first one to take my hit, and I opted to buy myself a new blouse to wear for the day. The link is here.
The next thing I decided to purchase was from Charlotte Tilbury, it wouldn’t be a blog post by me if it didn’t include at least *some* makeup. The Charlotte Tilbury store in Covent Garden is such a beautiful one. It’s two floors, and downstairs is where all the magic (makeovers) happen. The two things I picked up were the new Airbrush Flawless foundation and the eyeshadow in the shade ‘Jean‘.
There’s also Chanel Beauty, Tom Ford Beauty, Ted Baker, Miller and Harris London, Tom Davies, Monica Vinader and many more. Find the list of Covent Garden shops here.
When it comes to choices for food at Covent Garden, you’re spoiled for choice. There’s The Ivy, Sushi Samba, By Chloe, Whalburger, Flat Iron and many more. I love discovering new places and this time I decided to try Wahaca. A Mexican restaurant nestled in the heart of Covent Garden. I’d been before and knew it was great, and my friend really wanted to try. It’s a great spot for Mexican food, especially if you’re looking for something a little more fast-paced, but still a sit-down meal.
Don’t fret though, there’s no shortage of sweet treats to keep you satisfied afterwards. Sugarsin is a sugar-free sweet shop, full of different flavours! There’s also Gelatorino next door, which is my favourite (so far) ice cream shop!
Covent Garden isn’t short of entertainment either, from street performers to theatre, there’s so much to do. And of course, the famous National Gallery for a spot of culture. If you’re looking for Instagram worthy places to visit, I highly suggest the app DotSpot! It’s brilliant and shows you Instagram photos taken around you.
The spending money was gifted by Hotels.com, but all views are my own. This is exactly how I love to spend my day in Covent Garden!
