For a lot of us, this Mother’s Day is going to be a particularly hard one. It’s the first one for me away from my mum, separated by 300 miles and a global pandemic. Sadly a FaceTime will have to suffice this year however there are still so many ways that you can make it a special day, using Moonpig. I’m guessing by now you’ll all know who they are (I forever have their jingle stuck in my head, tbh) and as much as Moonpig are known for their cards, they have a fantastic range of flowers and gifts too. So, let me talk you through a few items that Moonpig let me pick out to show you all.
First up is flowers, is it really Mother’s Day if there are no flowers?! This beautiful bouquet full of tulips and pink baby’s breath is such a beautiful bouquet and very affordable, at £25. They have bloomed so beautifully and having flowers in my house always totally livens up my day whenever I glance at them. If tulips aren’t your thing (or your mums) Moonpig have plenty of mother’s day flowers to choose from!
Next is my mums favourite, Moet & Chandon. My Mum loves champagne and I just had to pick some up for us to share when she visits me! It makes such a wonderful present because it’s so special and can be used together.
Sticking with alcohol, I also picked out the Warner’s Raspberry Gin. I LOVE gin and especially one with a fruity twist and I can’t wait to try it out. I think it’s so great that you can pick up such a lovely gift and have it delivered the same time as your personalised Mother’s Day card.
Next up is some nice homeware and beauty bits! Yankee candles are a firm favourite in my house and as soon as I saw this scent I had to have it. Sweet Honeycomb, it’s sweet like honey but not overpoweringly sweet like some other scents that Yankee do.
Moonpig also stock gifts such as Sanctuary Spa, a brand that my mum and I both love and use all of the time. Their luxury bath flat is a favourite of mine and this set is so lovely and makes such a wonderful gift. My sister loves Sanctuary too, so I think this set will be making it’s way to her pretty soon.
Moonpig also stock Birchbox too, which makes such a lovely present for a beauty-loving mum! I’ll not spoil what’s inside, but its a good one!
Lastly on the beauty gifts front, is the ThisWorks Evening Detox Starter Kit, I love this brand and their products are so calming. It consists of a mask and a cleanser, which have been popped into my bathroom and will be making their way into my routine soon. I can’t wait to try them out.
Lastly is food, the way to my heart. From jelly beans to afternoon tea hampers, Moonpig have a lot to choose from. This lovely little hamper is so sweet, full of rose, jam, biscuits, chocolate, tea and a cake.
Whether you’re going to choose beauty, food, home gifts or flowers (or one of each!) this Mother’s Day, Moonpig is such a great place to do your shopping. Adding a personalised card is a sure way to make your gift special, too!
