Fleur De Force is one of those beauty gurus where if she says something its good, I’ll take her word as gospel. I’ve followed her for a long time now and I know that if she puts her name on anything, she believes in the product and trusts it. Her lash collection with Eylure is a staple in my lash-wardrobe. Each set I love and wear on the regular, they’re so subtle and beautiful. Favourite. Lashes. Ever.
When her collection, consisting of two products, the Brow Tamer and Brow Powder was announced with Eylure, I trusted it instantly. I LOVE the Eylure Brow Amplifier on my brows for making them appear fluffier and thicker. I’d been struggling for a long time to find someone I trusted with my brows but now that I have that coupled with some great brow products, they’ve never looked better.
Each product has three shades; Light, Medium and Dark and I’m in the shade ‘Medium’. The brow palette consists of three shades, a darker shade for the tail of the brow, a lighter brow powder for the front and a gorgeous subtle brow highlight. It doesn’t have any shimmer or glitter, which I like and means you can highlight all around your brow and really carve it out. It’s long lasting and waterproof, something I’m yet to test but it absolutely was long lasting. They aren’t overly powdery and there was very little fallout from the brow shades, but on the highlight there was. Nothing that can’t be blended in though!
The second product is the Brow Tamer, a 2 in 1 sculpt and control brow gel with one side being the medium shade and the other the clear. My brows are rather long and unruly sometimes so this sets them brilliantly. I don’t like filling my brows in heavily and when they are freshly waxed, they don’t really need it for the shape, just the sparseness. You can see below the before and after. The photos aren’t edited apart from a tiny little bit of brightness adjustment.
I love my brows now and I’ll definitely be transitioning these over into my everyday makeup bag. They’re small, compact and lightweight too so great for travelling.
You can find the collection in store and online on boots.com and also on the Eylure website.
A huge thank you to Eylure for sending me these gorgeous products and congratulations to Fleur De Force on such a fantastic collection.
