Oh Christmas, there’s presents, lots of amazing food but most importantly… a lie in. If I really want to treat myself, I’ll buy a new bedding set and some lovely bits to make my bedroom feel cosy and refreshed. Soon, I’ll be redoing my room and giving it a little spruce up, so I’ll be sharing that with you all as soon as it’s finished. Yay.
I feel like such a lucky blogger, all of the items featured in this blog post have kindly been gifted from Dunelm, one of my favourite places to shop for all things homeware. Their famous teddy bear range, which I’m sure you’ve all heard about, is something I knew I wanted to get my hands on. It’s the softest material I have ever felt, and when I wrap myself in this Blush Teddy Bear Throw it feels like I’m floating around in a cloud. Love. It. The white teddy bear bedding is on my list of things I absolutely need in my life, however, I fear I’ll just be too comfortable and never get out of bed again… The taupe colour is so beautiful and is next on my list when I redo my room. I’m going minimalist and neutral colours!
This year, I’ll be spending Christmas at my family home with my Mum and my brother, and Christmas Eve with my Dad. Currently wondering if it’s acceptable to rock up to his house in this dressing gown because I really don’t want to take it off. We are absolutely a family of dressing gowns, no matter the time of day we’re usually all cuddled up in ours when we’re lounging around the house. This lovely grey one came in a set with some slipper socks and a sleep mask! It’s super soft, almost a soft velvet feel. It would make the perfect gift for someone for Christmas, and is rather inexpensive at only £25! It comes in a gorgeous box, perfect for that person you love. Unfortunately, I can’t find the robe online however you may be able to find it in store, but THEY DO TEDDY BEAR ROBES! And teddy bear socks. Oh my
It feels like I’ve been searching for the perfect duvet set for a long time, something simple but not plain, I don’t like busy bedding and I fell in love with this Chateau De Belle Maison ‘Victoria’ set in Cream set as soon as I saw it on the website. It’s intricate, delicate, detailed but not too full on. It has lace around the edge and lovely embroidered stars on the rest of the bedding. The quality is by far the best I’ve had, and it’s soft but crisp. I wish I could make my bed as well as it looks in the images on the website, but alas I am the messiest person ever and I really did try… I promise.
Now my bedroom is super cosy, I’m going to hibernate for the rest of the Christmas period and never emerge. I mean I will, because I’m stupidly excited for Christmas dinner, but you get the idea. A huge thank you to Dunelm for sending me some lovely bits to feature and show you all, it’s been a dream of mine to work with them and I’m seeing 2018 out in comfort. Definitely check them out for any of your homeware needs, I have so much in my home from there!
Speak soon,
